So, here I am in a rural area of Queensland after moving from near Dallas, Texas with my 2 girls (12 and 15) last July.
I'm Australian, but lived in the US for a number of years, moving there just out of high school and have now returned a little older and wiser (so please excuse any American spelling I may happen to write lol). We lived in a few different states over there, it was a fabulous experience.
I love scrapping about little things in the areas we lived, quirky stuff and things people would generally not pay attention to, like old school buses being used as the local vegie market stall on the weekends in Wisconsin, shoes being lined up..
I am a Criminal Justice professional, but currently the President of a radio station in a small town near where we live. Its a volunteer position but great until I find a job here, and another wonderful experience to add to my skills.
Welcome to the madehouse Helen - it is lovely to have you here and we will excuse the USA spelling - we all do it ourselves from time to time - cant wait to see some of your quirky scrapbooking in the gallery - I love that type of scrapping that tells a story about something in life that you are unlikely to remember any other way
