For this weeks showcase I thought I'd share with you how I have made this cute little gift bag and matching card.
Materials for bag and card
Card stock 81/2 x 11 inches Coordinating paper and embellies Ribbon Hole punch Score board, scorer and ruler
-Cut the card stock in half so you have two 51/2 x 81/2 pieces. You can use the second piece for your card or make another box. -Lay the paper long ways and score at 2,4,6 and 8 inches. -Turn it horizontally and score at 2 inches. -Fold all score lines, cut up the 4 scored lines to the 2 inch scored line and add DST to the small flap. -Starting with the thin tab attach the edges together to form a square tube. -Add DST to 3 of the 4 2 inch squares. -Fold in each of the squares one on top of the other leaving the one without the tape on it till last. This one will need to have tape on all four sides. -Squeeze in both sides like a milk carton and punch a hole in the top. -Thread ribbon through the hole and decorate the front of your box to match your card.
