I am really trying to work out my last 2 days to fit in a couple of tours etc but can't fit everything in. I could do something from 7am-12 on one of the days of the retreat (probably Saturday) but don't want to miss out on anything LOL. I don't want people to think I am rude but getting up there is a chance in a lifetime for me to see and do a few lovely things so I might have to take a little time out at some stage. I figured the early start would be better as some people might not get up and going until a bit later so I wouldn't be missing for lots of scrapping time? |

A lot of the locals will be coming in late on the Friday as they have to work etc Allie - maybe Friday morning would be the one I would suggest - we have a few of the bigger classes organised for Saturday so you might miss those, but totally up to you - entirely understand the desire to do some touristy things too |

Ah OK that might work too. Was trying to avoid Friday because I won't be arriving in Cairns now until about 10.30pm on Thursday and wanted to get a decent sleep. But, it really might work out better to do it Friday if the classes etc are on Saturday. Thanks The tour I want to do is http://www.aussiedrifterz.net/half_day_tubing_tour which looks like a lot of fun! That way I can do the Karunda railway/skyrail and the Reef on my 2 extra days so will have covered a bit of everything |

Well found Allie - that looks like a really fun tour and it is not too far out of Cairns so you wont be on a bus for hours and hours |

Thanks Mel, I think it looks very cool. I am not into something like white water rafting (too chicken) so this looks much more my style |
