Ppphhttth Ck celebrity LOL! Most people haven't got a clue about me now, and I deliberately took myself out of the lime light because I was getting embarrassed being recognized in book stores etc. I also had a facial accident that kinda took down my self esteem (still need more surgery to correct it) OK I found something LOL! Shock to me, I'm mentioned along with Tim Holtz!
I even have a picture! LOL. http://books.google.com/books?id=FC9es_lrCQ0C&pg=PA157&lpg=PA157&dq=helen+mccain+scenic+route&source=bl&ots=8mXGrfiqLT&sig=cYy3H249AL0P-2f68YFbIvPPLk8&hl=en&sa=X&ei=h1r-T7-VOpOK8QTn1bjRBg&ved=0CFcQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=helen%20mccain%20scenic%20route&f=false
If you click 'view all' you can scroll down and read the article. For the record, I don't like that layout I did shown on there (at all!). But you may recognize my two girls! They were so little back then

Famous indeed!

And something I did not know that Tim knew how to do - create a whole layout - every time I have ever seen the guy make anything it has been a tag - I will have to go googling and see if there is anything anywhere where he does a demo on putting a whole layout together

Yeah, he became known for tags more in around 2006 or so but didn't do too many layouts. I think tags are his niche, and were easier to show several techniques quickly. I got into a few myself. On the last link, if you scroll up there are a 3 tags there, the one in the middle is mine (with the house on it) and the other two are Tims.

I was actually pretty sad to leave Australia again, all my family is down there and we have none here. The main reason I left is a lack of a job, despite qualifications up the wahzoo *sigh*

Anyway, my blog profile pretty much says it all. We've lived now in 7 states in the US, have done 3 international moves, prior to here (South Carolina - been here for just a week now), we lived in Texas. Haven't seen much of the place yet, but did go to Savannah, Georgia last weekend for a Ghost tour, we're only 30 minutes from the state border. It was pretty good actually, learned about a lot of the history of Savannah (apparently the most haunted city in the US). Will be posting about that on my blog soon (w&w wanderings of an Aussie expat)

Now that I've been reunited with all my scrappy stuff, I might be able to get and do stuff...but most of that I have to find in storage too LOL!

I'll still be buying stuff from Australia though!
