A boast of a different nature - took the camera down to the beach to play today - took a few of this little fellow but I am pretty happy with this shot
thanks girls - he was very obliging to pose so well for me but I am still not quiet happy with the lighting on the right side of the photo - need Tiff's input here
Hey Lee-Anne. Aren't you the lucky one to have him pose for you.
They are skittish at the best of times
In retrospect looking at the shot, I wondering if you used your flash to 'fill-flash' the shadows. But that tends to frighten wildlife away, so you may have to gamble only getting that one shot when the flash is popped up.
I reckon if the camera was flipped over to the portrait perspective (up and down) you would have the entire tail in the shot too.
Easy to say after the moment tho isn't it.
I'm stoked that you had the camera out for a play.
Tiff...small world, we're playing musical boxes. Scrapbooking memories returned my layout in the box you sent them. I kept looking at it thinking, I know that name, realized it was here. So if by the off chance you ever want your box back...its pretty dinged up now lol!
Ok so this one is the portrait shot - just liked the other one better because he was holding his head up but I think you are right - the tail really is an important part of this huge thing - he was so tame that I got a bundle of shots
That is an awesome photo. I have been thinking I should read all this and play with my camera.
But the colour challenges and other photo challenges are they have to be done with iphone or what ever they are called or any camera? I don't have an iphone? I would like to learn how to take better photos for my pages/
