Am in Melbourne waiting for flight to Cairns... girls have noses in books and thought I'd check in and say hi....

Was dark when we left Tassie, not a cloud in the sky and the milky way very bright.....a morning of frosts I think, but a sunny day....

Its soooo miserable in Melbourne and we landed in fog. Its dreary and gray and cold....

So cant wait for 27C!!!

We picked Miss Mandy up from the airport - how convenient of her to arrive on our day off, and spent a couple of hours with her lolling around in the sunshine by the pool at the Nard - beautiful day for it. Back to work tomorrow

Thanks girls!!! We did have a safe trip!!! And thanks so much Lee-Anne and Danny for a lovely afternoon!!! The weather is just BEAUTIFUL and Paige has already been in the Lagoon! As soon as we walked in the door of the unit - Paige had the bathers on! Lee-Anne can vouch for that!! LOL!

Its 8.30 and the girls are already in bed... our very early start this morning is paying out! Dont think I'll be out long either!!!

Well I had hoped to get some more challenges done today for May, but I had to go to the doctor urgently today, due to a wound on my leg being infected, and a skin cancer that has returned.

I was diagnosed with the skin cancer last year (an SCC) and I was warned it would grow back. I am feeling a bit dejected and scared about it. My GP says I need to see a total of 3 different specialists about it, as it is next to my eye which is difficult in the sense of possible scarring.

Ouch Ceci. Hope all goes well with the leg and your eye.

So jelly out her Missy. After the lagoon being closed last year I bet the girls couldn't wait to get there this year.

what a gorgeous morning. I opened the sliding doors in the lounge and was in the ensuite and a little sparrow hopped all the way into my bedroom! How gorgeous! I tried to grab my camera but it hopped out again.
