LOL Mandy! I was shocked when I read you had iron TWO baskets-full! I didn't think people still ironed (I don't..unless it crafts, you see )

It is a really cool, blustery spring morning here. I need to nag my teens into doing home-schooling and then I have a lady coming for sewing (she is making a quilt) in the afternoon.

If kids didnt have school uniforms or a husband that needs a clean uniform everyday - it wouldnt be half as bad! My ironing has been backing up for the LONGEST time and it was time to bit the bullet and get it done! As for miss Paige! I dont iron for her anymore - it just ends up on her 'Floorrobe' so that just gets folded and dropped exactly there! I figured why go to the trouble of even putting it on her bed????

Cant help myself... got to iron my clothes - and pillowcases and tableclothes!

ahhh...so that's what I'm lacking in, Mandy...husband's and school uniforms LOL! My girls have floordrobe's too...although I have noticed their room is currently, I KNOW it won't stay like that!

I do like ironed clothes/linen etc..I've just gotta be in the mood to do it.

Morning all. I am not going scrapping today as Missy has her tap dance exam this morning and seeing as she was a bit sad to find out that they were having an excursion at school today we are going to make a day of it and go of to have lunch and go to the movies afterwards.

Well, work for me today. I might have a bit of a scrap tonight. I have an idea for a layout, I just hope it turns out like it is in my head.

yesterday was a nice day. i think missy did ok with her exam. we nervous for her. we then went out and had lunch and went to see the zoo keeper. we both loved it.

today i am of to the local for a short while to sort out a heritage class and then I am going food shopping. I should do the housework but that can wait again.

So glad that missy got through her tap exam okay and that you had a lovely day together Julie.

I've got a gardening day and back into spring cleaning! Not looking forward to getting in to my scrap study!

Argh is today really Thursday I have DH's 30th on the weekend and I have to make this fancy cake - not sure why I decide to do these things hoping it turns out ok, I haven't used fondant before so heres hoping Off down south next thursday and still need to pack ohh dear this working life is interfering with every haha

I've had a good day...running errands this this morning and a sewing class this afternoon. Just wait for DD to get home from work so I can give her a driving lesson.

Oh, Julz, I am sooo not looking forward to the kids getting their licenses!!!

Well, I got to go home early from work, bad news is, it was because Amy wasn't well. We think she has a UTI and you know, it ain't easy getting a urine sample from an almost 4 year old! I swear the poor bugger keeps getting stage fright!

oooh it just sooo horrible Beth - Hannah suffered from them quite often when she we little too. Its such a dreadful thing. We ended up putting a white icecream container in the bottom of the toilet - and it was the ONLY way.(totally get the stagefright thing) And then when she got used to that - was able to somewhat guess where the sterilised jar was to go and balanced that in the centre of the icecream container - and bobs your uncle! Just got to get creative!

great suggestion Mandy - I hate them, but good chance it she has one really bad she just cant go

yeah I know... thats the worst part.. but eventually they have to go.

one of the ways I did get her to go when she was holding it in cos it hurt so much (not for a sample though) was in the shower.. the warm water seemed to help 'let go'. You just end up trying anything to help them...its horrible to watch them cry in pain. Hannah had so many she had to have an exploratory (needle through the tummy into the bladder) to get a sterile sample and pin point the problem.

Ouch for the infection Beth, touch wood Missy has not had one here.

Spoke to Josie, Missy's performance teacher for her tap solo coming up in the school holidays and all the girls passed their exams but as too what level we won't know for a few weeks yet. I snapped this not long before she went in.
