The power of the www surprises me sometimes ... today I finished off some little girly bags which I sewed from remnants of some dresses I made my daughter about 3 years ago. Everything had been sitting in a box and all I had to do was sew on the clasps. Well, today I did that, and decided to upload them to my FB site as I felt good about finishing them off (I hardly ever use FB and almost didn't put them up). But, within a few minutes two people wanted to buy them!!! Wowsers - I had 12, now I have 3   amazing ....

Congrats to your daughter Julie - how exciting for her, and no good about that rain Mandy. It's been so hot up here. Good luck with the boot camp Christine!

Hubby and the kids started painting a checkers/chess board on our front concrete patch today. The kids were so excited, especially DS who learnt how to play chess a few months ago. He loves it ... doesn't know he has the big chess pieces to go with it yet. He thinks there's only the draughs pieces :D We've got the white background ready so hopefully the black squares will be down tomorrow.

I have two scrappy days arranged for next week - maybe I'll get time to get some Tim stuff done yet ... not good so far!!

I love the www too Sandra - that's great news!

Well I turned up to a "group training session" tonight only to discover it was just me and the trainer. All I can say is, "That's gonna hurt tomorrow!".

I've managed to load a couple of projects into the gallery but can't wait to do some more on the weekend - I really missed my day off yesterday...

Have had a nice day out here. Was feeling a bit blah this morning but getting in the car and going down to the local was just what I needed. Managed to get one dt layout sorted and have a nice morning out. Have not long come in from dd tutoring session. Sausage hot pot is in the slow cooker and just waiting on the rice to cook before sitting down to dinner.

well I am still paying the price for a big weekend away - teach me for taking heavy boxes without Danny around to lift them for me - have done something major to my back/neck/shoulder muscles and am on strictly light duties for two weeks with pills and cream and blah!

Did have a great weekend though - got thru 2 OTP's and two and almost a third layout - gotta love that

Bugger Lee-Anne, I hope you recover quickly.

I got up super early to go for a run this morning, which I think I am going to do 3 times a week. Then off to work.

Now home and I am thinking of making a shirt tonight which has been on my to do list for a while. I am just not sure whether to go for the ruffle shirt or just a nice cotten one. I think the cotten one will be easier, so I might go with that! LOL!
