Well I have done a little something for myself, I have set up a blog and a little store on madeit.com.au to sell some of my painted stuff. To put something in the store I have listed some cards that I have laying about at home but will now also have to work on my paintings etc. Please come and check it out. Personlly I think I need to put more work into it, I will continue updating and hopefully improving as time goes on.
I am yet to design a banner for the store but I will probably paint something and photograph it, I am not real sure how to create the banner but I will get there eventually. I think this will be a slow process and that is okay by me.

I just learned today my SIL (who had a heart attack last year) has died. I bawled my eyes out! She's my husband's sister and lives in Queensland. She took a turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago and was admitted to hospital. I had just sent of a card today to say I was thinking of her..and now it's too late...

I hope your move goes well Shauna! I hate moving - I'm hoping to be able to stay put for quite some time...

What did you decide Julie? To work, or not to work... I'm hanging out for an extra day a week, but I only need to worry about myself. I've had more than one friend who has decided not to work extra hours because the childcare costs don't make it worthwhile...

I'm very tired - I hope the next couple of days go quickly (bring on the weekend!). Not sure how much scrapping I'll get done this weekend, but I will be printing off some of Tiff's wonderful camera tutes to take on holidays with me (I've borrowed mum and dad's camera to play with!).

Still not too sure which way to go yet Christine. Day care cost isn't too much of an issue as being a single parent I only pay $25 a week so an extra day isn't that much during the school term but a bit more during the holidays. I really don't want to have Craig do the pick up from day care any more than what he does so if I do decide to go with it it will be on the condition that on that extra day I am not doing the late shift.

I've just finished delivering 100 newspapers and just sitting down to some lunch. My vacuum cleaner died the other day (I was cleaning my bedroom ) so going to run into town and have a look at getting another. My bro works at Harvey Norman's so I check there first as I get a family discount.

I'm hoping to get a little scrapping or crafting in when I get home.

Lee-anne how was your trip to visit the grandbaby???

I ended up having to say no as I couldn't get Asher into daycare on the Wednesday the day that they wanted me to work. I can do the Friday but that isn't going to fit in with work so for now it is just staying the same.

Been at home feeling really yuk and down with a tummy bug and just had some good news from work. My boss has been able to sort it out so I can pick up the Friday at work by the end of the month. And the bonus is that she listened to me when I asked not to be on the late shift so that I could pick up Asher from daycare and not have to have Craig do it for another day. I just have to be able to do it one Friday a month and have said that I can only do theFriday on the last weekend of the month which is Craig's weekend anyway.

I go on holidays next Thursday Julze - I'll be away for a few weeks but will still have internet access so will keep in touch

Not much going on here today. Very lovely day though. Sat out in the sun and did some crocheting of my wavy chevron blankie. The did some reading with my new kindle "Marly and Me" is a hoot of a read. Just about finised it.
