Morning all.

It's the lead up to Easter this week so I am guess most of us will be getting organized. I will be once Missy is on school holidays. She has Mon and Tues at school and then breaks up going back on a Wednesday in two weeks. Seems strange to me but oh well.

I'm going to be a scrapping this morning as I have a few cards to make up and then some housework this arvo. I also have to fit in some time to look over some first aid stuff as I have a refresher course tomorrow for work. Yuk.

What are your plans for today.

I've had an exciting day!
I've walked Brisbane I think lol and headed down to the Botanical Gardens - love love love botanical gardens anywhere! What beautiful vibrant flowers to photograph! And then came across the old Government house - what a gem! I've fallen in love with that place. Being able to go inside and photograph - weeeeeeell - I was in HEAVEN! This afternoon was shopping! whooohooo. Just had a little sleep in my hotel room.

And now have to start thinking about work tomorrow and what to prepare. :?

Hi Kristy! I'm only here in the city until tomorrow morning (only had yesterday and today off) and then leave for Albion because I've got to work there- no spare time then unfortunately.
It would have been great to catch up though!

Oh Mandy you are making me jealous!
I used to work not far from the gardens and spent most lunch breaks in there. Just gorgeous!!
And I used to live not far from where you are going in Albion. The next suburb, Wooloowin.
I wish I was still there. {{sigh}}

Enjoy your stay!

have got to do some pretty boring stuff this week ....like get a new gear box in my car (((the spin of of having learner driver ...kekeke) ..and do a bit of running about for IRL boring things ......But i am going to try and aim for maybe WED for a trip to babinda .....good chance to test the new gear box    ......

also just to vent ...you know what annoys me ..we get paid monthly... i have auto payments set up on a certain date ...when they fall on a weekend ....they never seem to show up in the other bank account till tues ....but they took the money out on friday night ...i have spoken to the bank ...it is to do with EFT happens at midnight on each business day ...blah blah ....but the thing is ....i will have bills come out of my bank today first thing today ..monday morning (because of the date)....which i have to cover (so it is like a double whammy of $$$)..because the balance of the transferred amount doesn't show until Tuesday ...cause i have to watch dates on calenders for weekend/ friday transfer days.... geez this gets up my goat!!! ......he he he better go cause hubby has left to take the car to mech...and i have to go pick him up =)

hope you all have a great day x0x0x

Sigh,

Anyway its lunchtime here and I've got an hour off so I've quietly eaten my lunch and popped on my laptop to say hi!!!

Helen that is a MASSIVE effort!!! COngratulations!!!! wow!

First aid courses are SO not my thing to do either. Got to do them though! I dont enjoy them one bit.

Thanks, but I have to own up to not being a perfectionist  So scorecard on project 365 was -
Photos taken - 2107
Photos in the album - well albums as there are 3 of them - 465
Days with a photo scrapped: 253, quite a long way from 365.
Last photo day of the "year" was 30 September 2010 and I am finally finished!

Don't think I'll do it again as Project 365 (or even 253!) , but I reckon it's a good technique for when you want a summary album of a period - eg a trip/holiday. I did it for our trip to the Gulf in 2009 and ended up with a nice compilation of shots for others to look at. We still like looking at the many hundreds we took :)
