We are baaack!!
Had a wonderful time at retreat thank you so much to Lee Anne and Danny and all their fabulous helpers.
Thank you to Lisa, Carol and Lee Anne for the amazing classes. My end product may look very different from your example but I loved the classes and I am very happy with what I have brought home.
Thank you Danny for your very helpful instructions and demonstrations showing me what I can do with my new Big Shot.
I love the new recipes I have in my new recipe folder so thanks to those who participated.
Thanks to Prima and My Minds Eye for those wonderfun free products.

I certainly recommend going to retreat if you can make it, can I put my deposit for next year down now Lee Anne?

Sounds like a blast Trisha.

It's been a veg out day here with most of it spent in my pjs. I have done some scrapping, washing and that's about it.

After a week or so of fighting of a cold I still have it and now I have a sore throat too. I just wish that it would all just bugger of as it sure would pull me out of this low that I am in. :(

Work for me tomorrow, where I will probably not be able to speak. So I hope the little darlings will be well behaved but I am not going to hold my breathe.

hiya everyone

we had a great time yesterday at the ipswich festival at springfield.

the kids had their faces painted, made bead necklaces, snakes out of felt.
had sausage sizzle and icecream for lunch.
They picked up some free things from the stalls like frizby, a bubblemaker, pencils and little drawing book, mousepad, lollies and lollypop.

The kids are now at the grandparents and come home tueday, will be great sleeping in for once and not having someone say im hungry mum.

thanks everyone re the comments about my pregnancy :)
I seem to be getting more and more nauseous and hungry each day.
my stomach is feeling weird and its getting hard to get comfortable in bed.
seem to be craving meat and cheese, which is not good as im not meant to have cheese and my face has broken out.
which is weird as i didnt crave cheese last time or chips. and this pregnancy feels a lot different from the first 2.

i will ring the grandparents tumorrow and see when adrians dad can take me in for a blood test.

we plan to tell the grandparents when i get to the 3 months mark and the kids.
(unless they figure it out before, by all the doctors visits lol)

have a great day all tumorrow

tc from mel ;)

Morning all (said in a very croaky voice) Yes I don't have much of one this morning. My sore throat from yesterday has gotten worse.

Work for me today and then dinner at Mum's before I can come home and relax. Hopefully my stash of strepsils will help me out through the day.

Hi!!! OMG The retreat is all over already! What rock was I under  Well we are in the middle of going to contract to build on our block finally after 5 years - my god what a disaster!! We have to live between my parents and inlaws as we cant afford to rent and pay a big morgage at the same time - it will only be for about 8 weeks and with a bit of luck in our new house by Christmas :)

It will be soooo worth it though Ant! Lucky you though that you have a place/s to stay and not have to pay rent too!

I'm packing packing packing here!!! I feel like the goal posts are moving closer! Wish I didnt have to work tonight!!!!

Howdy all!!

We won hockey as well yesterday! But I managed a spectacular fall/roll. I'm just grateful we ended up playing on the water turf and not the sand turf, cause that would have killed!!!!

James has been snotty and horrible, which rules out most of my normal social outlets as I don't want to spread the germs :( He still isn't sleeping much either which isn't helping.

No scrapping here, as I'm trying to finish a heap of sewing projects. They are a bit simpler at the moment as there is no creativity involved!!

Ant - That will be great. It won't be long living with your rellies and as Mandy said, the end result will be worth it.

Julie - I hope your feeling better tonight!!

Melody - Congratulations!! I hope the sickness isn't too bad.

I am pretty much in recovery mode today - had the worst headcold all weekend - sincerest thanks to the inventor of codral - soilder on has a who new meaning and a special thanks to Chris D for my Lemon and Honey on Sat night.

We had 48 girls at retreat - 2 short of a full house, with some of them even walking in on Saturday morning and asking if there was a place to join in - :D - it was an amazing time and the girls all looked after Danny and I so well, feeding us there leftover chips so we didnt have to stop for lunch and could keep going - that is becoming a bit of a scraptherapy retreat tradition - feed Danny and Lee-Anne

Our day off tomorrow will involve a couple of trips up to Cairns to pick up and bring back the retreat leftovers, mind you the girls did a pretty good job of buying a lot of it, but yes girls there is some of the new Prima left for you guys. Thrisa had a limited budget - lucky for you all. $10,000 worth of Prima was just not going to be all purchased by one person.

Just in from work and dinner at mum. My throat is still feeling sore and to top it all of my nose has started too.

We also have a not so happy cat here too. Just before I went to take Missy to school I noticed that her tails was red and very sore looking so got Craig to call the mobile vet to come round and check her out after he had finished work. She had gotten into a fight during the week and was bitten which has gone nasty. Two needles later she wasn't a very happy cat at all.
