It was a nice day out here. Asher ended up going over to her friends place for a play after the sleepover. I was teaching at my local and we have just come in from dinner with friends. |

Went to a crop at my LSS yesterday, got a couple of layouts & a couple of cards done. Today it's work - and catching up with a friend who I haven't seen IRL for about 3 years after work for a hot chocolate, looking forward to that! Going to have a little wander round the local lake after & see if I can get a decent landscape photo or two. Then it's the normal running around picking kids up from drama practice & meetings, come home & organise dinner... then collapse! Just another Monday here LOL! |

Public holiday here!! Everyone is till in bed 'cept me! Oh Vicki!! time to get that LO finished!!! Yeah Julie I have a long night ahead of me... I've got rehearsal at the ballet studio tonight, Theatre rehearsals tomorrow.... ballet comps for the rest of the week. My heart isnt in it at all. And NOW they decide to cancel all flights to Tasmania! WHY couldnt they cancel flights on THURS when we came home! The only reason we flew home on thurs was because it was soooo expensive on Fri, sat and sun! grrr. I would have gladly stayed! Sounds like a wonderful day yesterday Pepper, and meeting up with an old friend will be a treat too!!! Better go get some brekky and start my day |

Scrapbooking expo and Textile art show were great. Seemed to be a few less stalls at both this year, but lots of classes and make and take sessions, competititions etc. I did four classes And here's a hint if they do it again next year. Your ticket gets you into both shows. The textile queue in the morning is one tenth the length of the scrapping queue. The halls are open to each other at the back! Join the textile show queue!! Not that it took very long to get in once they opened the doors. Sun is out again, washing, washing, washing... |

Posca pens. Made by Mitsubishi Pencil co, in Japan. They are "uni Posca", marker/brush pens with acrylic paint in them!! I got a black pen - round tip, ultra fine - and a white one -bullet tip, fine line - in a class. If you check the Uni website, they have them all the way up to big fat markers. Apparently they are popular with graphic artists and graffiti-ists, can be found in some newsagents and in art shops. I'll be looking! |

Been at the theatre this morning... alls going well, I shouldnt need to go in now until tomorrow night...... THOUGH - I've been put on standby - looks like the adjudicator may not be able to be here in time for tonights start - and because I dont have any competitors in tonight - I might have to adjudicate. I hope not... the last thing i want is more work.... I was planning on SCRAPPING! It'll depend on whether REX is flying. Fingers crossed! |

I'm going crazy trying to find a receipt for something (a headset) I bought my 12 yr old for his birthday. Why is it you can find EVERY receipt but the one you need. |
