hope my week improves. Rory was sick friday night/saturday, thats ok... but then i went to hockey yesterday, played and then travelled the 1 hr home, 10mins form home i had to stop as i was sick. Left DH and kids home so I arrive home thinking i will get looked after.... hubby is sick, an hr later Lucy and 3 hrs later Hannah. So between us we spent most the night up vomiting..... i NEVER EVER want us all to be sick at once again, that just isnt fun. so much wahsign to do and no energy to do it, except the 2yr old does as he already had his turn!!!!!!!!!!
thank goodness we had all had a nap, just Hannah and I up at the moment!!
Aww, poor kiddo! Is he still in hospital Ant? I'm on a mission this week to get my big girl better too. Although the Dr can't fit us in until Friday arvo.
Ohhhhh Belinda, you poor things!!! Was it food poisoning or just awful luck that you all got a virus together??? Hope you're all feeling better soon.
A busy work week here too ... I'm hanging out for Friday 'cause we get to have a week off camping ! I've packed some kits for when the kids go to sleep & I'm hoping to find my mojo in O'Briens Creek .

Sorry Lee-Anne it was the 21st party Saturday night and I had her scrapping for "the" album and she was wonderful, she did a fabulous job and it was finally finished at 4pm on Saturday. That's the reason I had all the cooking done beforehand, so she could help scrap rather than cook. The party was terrific and we were all very quiet on Sunday. I am still trying to talk Helenp into coming up for the Prima classes in November.
I hope all the sick people are well again soon. It is hard when your whole family is ill.
On a happier note I am changing, from a pull time position, to 4 days a week, that will start next week so I am hoping that will give me a little extra time to do my own thing.

Today I was in student clinic at the massage school.
Today was actually pretty awesome as I now have (dated today) my Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice.
Started working on this at the beginning of 2009 - so after a serious ankle injury in 2009 and diagnosis of a rare auto-immune condition in 2010 I have finally achieved my qualification which feels pretty good.
In August I will work two more student clinics which will complete my Pregnancy Massage module. Then, this module can be counted as the first elective toward my diploma (my next level qualification) and also earn me continuing education credits for my first year officially qualified and registered.
I will not take up any more study toward my diploma until 2012 as I definately need a break, and also to earn some money after all the outgoing study costs.
If any of my scrapping friends who are central Sydney based are interested in having a massage, I am working from home currently (General area - Crows Nest / St Leonards / Naremburn - Lower North Shore - in the vicinity of Royal North Shore Hospital )
Please contact me by private message and I can give you more detail. Have a great Winter Special on one hour massage currently - goes till 9 July and then I am away in NZ visiting my family for ten days.

Never enough time to do it all, but the scrapping and the party were fun, and a very nice change from reading budget papers which was how I spent last week! I'm not sure I signed up for budget papers when I took that job... However, it does finance the scrapping goodies and being able to go to birthday bashes in Cairns, so won't complain.

Oh Ant and Belinda, I hope everyone is feeling better!!
I've had ideas whirling around in my head, and I'm starting to think it all may come into fruition. I'm looking at starting a little business making homemade travel goodies. Mainly sling high chairs, mats for chairs and under highchairs, kindle/nook/kobo/ipad sleeves and cases as a start, Possibly also things like wet bags, change mats, breastfeeding covers. Main thing is to start sewing and to also get some bits and pieces together (like a logo!!) so I can get started. So if your on my facebook, keep as eye out .
Other than that its been pretty quiet here, James in finally settling into a rough routine which is making days more predictable. I'm also getting lots of cleanign around the house done, since not much has happened for the last 12 months. I'm also getting lots of cupboards this week for the study/sewing/scrapping room, so hopefully once I can store everything, my mojo might return for scrapping!
