Good afternoon everyone, I hope everyone is healthier this week. A quiet morning here due to the fact that that DH had a very big night last night. This is a very rare occurrence indeed, my girls commented they had never before seen their father in such a state, I am still laughing but the dratted man is not too unhealthy. I am off to see a client for a quick meeting then when I come home I am hoping to do some scrapping. Enjoy what's left of your day.
Quiet here too, a little too quiet as house should be full of people doing physics experiment preparation..... I've gardened and scrapped today, the sun is shining again, have caught up with various people at FOUR events so far this weekend. So just doing the lovely scrap ahead project and listening to the football, the fountain bubbling... sigh, love Sundays.

Spent half the day running the eldest DD around, finished a Twiddleybitz DT project this morning, and finally got my photos organised ready for the retreat I'm heading to on Thursday. And I got the washing & ironing done too!
Up early tomorrow morning, I work 7am -2:30pm without a lunch break during the holidays - means I get home to see the kids for a few hours before dinner - and since they sleep in until almost lunchtime anyway (well, the older two do), they don't really miss me in the morning! I think they're coming into the city tomorrow to do some shopping anyway, so I'll meet up with them there when it's time to head home.
Morning All, Saturday we went shopping in Cairns - spent way to much money but got some bargains, Im not a real fan of DFO but now that they have Typo well I just couldn't resist. Then we went to my sisters (who is a fashionista - she used to own a clothes store) and she gave me $1000 worth of beautiful dresses for FREE!!! I got a beauitful Lace & Rose coloured dress to wear to my cousins wedding which she paid $800 for and said I could have it because its not the right lenght for her Certainly wasn't going to say no to that!!
Saturday night Master C had to sleep with me he's not well we think its maybe teeth, hes got a runny nose and very irritable, As much as I love his cuddles I certainly prefer them in awake hours as he had to make sure I was cuddling him and that he had some body parts on my at all times and would kiss me every five minutes, he even proceeded to ask me at 2am if he could go on a plane and when I said no he asked me if he could go on a boat and I said no and then he said a car is ok I think I got about 2 hours sleep
Sunday we went to the Mareeba Rodeo and that will be the last time its very poorly set out and just way to expensive. And last night master c was all sorts and today we are back at work and I'm just not sure how Im going to cope!!! Anyways Hope to finish work at 2 and go get creative I'm having withdrawls!!!

We went and saw Bridesmaids last night, I have not laughed so hard at a movie for a very long while - I was in tears - may not appeal to everyones taste but it tickled my funnybone.
We have a big week in front of us finishing off with a 5 hour stint doing demo work at the Cairns Show on Friday. For the local girls - sorry we will be closed this Friday if you were thinking of taking advantage of the show day and coming to visit.

I spent today at work, slipped out for a lunch break with a friend who's down from Geraldton for a work course, then met up with my girls after work for a spot of shopping - they had pocked money to spend! Not long home, still haven't gotten anything organised for the retreat I'm heading to, apart from photos - think there's some last minute packing coming up!
Lee-anne, I went to Bridesmaids a couple of weeks ago with my older two girls (14 & almost 16) - the opening scene made me wonder if I should have gone on my own! But we all really enjoyed it & laughed a lot, so that was good.
lol Pepper. Our local cinema owner is also the local Chemist - I was chatting to him before the weekend when the movie was showing here in town - when they are setting up for the movie they get to watch 5 minutes at the start and 5 minutes at the end to check their lighting and sound. He said that he was very worried about showing it and that it was the most x rated thing he had ever shown at the local cinema. I had to laugh when I saw the first and last scene, between the wild bedroom scene at the beginning and the sandwich eating scene at the end I am not surprised he was worried.

Was a busy day at work today. The trained in my room was off sick and being away for a week it sort of threw me. It didn't help that we had trouble getting in relief and ended up getting in an agency worker who didn't know the center. She is away again tomorrow but we have a regular relief staff member in so it should be a better day.
Hello all. Sort of tedious day here trekking to and fro picking up DD from school as she is sick, then off to the doctors & to the chemist and supermarket, home and then had to turn around and trek back to the chemist and shops as I had forgotten things, DD then said she forgot to tell me the DVD's were due so I trekked back to the video store, where the annoying guy wouldn't give me a refund for ones that didn't play...not going back there...hrrumph. Then I nearly became a victim of road rage on the way home, this guy was sitting on my tail and kept giving me the finger up just because I had done a little beep with my horn thinking he was going to drive into me, gosh there is so much aggression around!
Anyway lindor balls to all who read that whole paragraph!
DH is away at a conference this week so it's just me & the hooligans at home ... wouldn't you know it ... I have the flu . Just when I need to do a full week at work!
