Morning girls. Not much happening here today. Missy has a dance exam rehearsal and then I will be doing some scrapping and housework. Hope you all have a great day. |

It's beautiful here for a change! Sunny and blue skies, so you may wonder why I am sitting at home.....weeellll I am waiting for DH to come back as he has taken Rachel driving, she needs to get more practice. Then we are hoping to go to the beach later this afternoon, hopefully before the sun sets! Hope Missy's rehearsal went well Julie. Belinda, I thought that was half the joy of hockey, getting wet mud all over you? |

Hi ladies! I've been a little absent lately - things have been rather crazy here with me working extra hours, sick kid, orthodontist appointments (DD#2 gets braces fitted on Friday - yay!), DH has just gone away for a couple of weeks, and we have a Craft Fair here next weekend (5-7th) that has required a lot of Twiddleybitz samples to be made for, so I've been flat out with that - still got a few to do & I'm running out of time! Did a bit more work on the samples this morning, then this afternoon a friend came over & helped me to start culling my stash (those of you who are my friends on Facebook may have seen the "before" photos - you can see why I needed to cull LOL!). Have one side of the room looking pretty good now - have culled my flowers down from six buckets to two, ribbons still need some more sorting out but have started to cull them - will continue in front of the tv over the next few evenings I think!) - still need to do under my desks and the big wall unit on my other wall - but I'll get there! At least I can now see my desk & I have some space to work! Off to work for me again tomorrow, but I at least get to sleep in a bit - 9:30am starts while DH is away, rather than the 7am starts I have been doing - still need to be up by 6:30am to get the older two girls up & organised for school - they need to catch the bus at 7:30am. The dog may even get a few walks this week, lucky him - although that may depend on the weather LOL! Hope everyone has a great week! |

I'm still recovering from a head cold...it's been almost a week now. I am very ready to be fit and healthy again! Just having (another) quiet day here...not hard to do in this cold weather. |

Thanks Larree Larree, it's on at Claremont Showgrounds in one of the Pavillions I think. Here's a link for more info... http://www.trueblue-exhibitions.com.au/craft2011/index.html From a scrappers point of view, while it's a smaller show than the one at the Convention Centre in May, I reckon it's got a better variety of things to see & buy! |

Well done with all the culling Pepper.....I really need to cull some stuff too, but not quite as much as you perhaps?... Hope you feel better soon Julia. I just cooked a delicious dinner, moroccan mince served with dinner rolls heated in the oven. Very simple but yummo. Just had to make sure I wasn't hungry before Masterchef comes on, nothing worse than watching that show when you are hungry!! |

Just in from a long day at work and came home at 6.30 to an un showered Missy who had done none of her after school jobs and none of her home reading. All she was saying as I walked in was I'm sorry Mum. She had been sitting at the kitchen table making something for dress up day tomorrow that we were going to work on tonight using two sheets of my bazzil. I was fuming. She knows not to use my stuff with out asking me first. So she had to pay me for the bazzil and the hair band thingy she destroyed to use in part of her costume. She also had to pay me another dollar for not doing all her jobs after dinner before the timer went off. She had better not muck around tomorrow morning or she will be losing another dollar and she will have even less money to spend at the book fair. |
