Morning all. So love school holiday sleep ins. Have only just stumbled out of bed and Missy is still asleep.
Not too much planned for today. Still have some unpacking to do from the weekend and housework. Apart from that I will be taking some pics of projects, spending time with Missy and maybe even pop out to the shops for a bit.
Tomorrow we are planning on going to the show if it isn't raining.

Ugh, just struggled with the first day of daylight savings and getting to school on time
Went to our local tulipfarm yesterday - got piccies with my substandard little tiny point and shoot camera (my dslr is not working!!) and our lighthouse... my ancestors were the lighthouse keepers in 1890's
its not quite 11am in WA and i have made a lasagne, sponge, cupcakes and potato bake!!! 2 loads washign, dug up some potatoes and fed the chooks!! WHy so productive??? all 3 kids, yep all 3 went with my parents yesterday to their place, i am going up tomorrow!!! Since having my kids i have spent 1 night completly child free (when we went to a wedding), the girls have gone to mums before but this is my little mans first time without me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so this arvo i will be packing my scrap stuff so i can scrap with my SIL whilst i am up there (they live in same town as mum)!! we are both looking forward to it as havent managed much scrapping last few months!!!
wow Belinda! You sound WAY too productive gal LOL! Go you! I love it when I get all energetic and productive....such a great feeling!
Mandy..your kids still at school too? When are your hols?
Enjoy your day with Missy and unpacking/sorting and photo taking, Jule..I look forward to seeing what you did over the weekend.
School hols aren't til next week here in NZ (because of the Rugby) and Monday's are Irish Dancing for Miss 18 which includes her driving there Then had some errands to do in town..with Miss 18 driving and then a counselling appointment at midday.
Back home to chaos (A.K.A: home-educating life LOL!) and only just getting to sit down now with a cuppa ..and it's nearly dinner time.

You are having a productive day Belinda and a busy one for you too Julze.
Well washing is doing and I am yet to do any other housework. I have been sorting through my scrap paper and bazil folders and have culled them majorly. I have bundles of 6, 5,4 inch square papers to make up some paper bundles to sell at my local.
Am still in pjs here but not for long as I will be popping out to the shops shortly.

I love pj days, Julie! Dinner's done, Miss 15 is washing the dishes/Master 12 clearing the table/sweeping the floor...going to get into my jammies soon and settle in front of the TV for a bit.

I think we should come to your house Belinda for some pie!
THis is the start of our second week back at school Julia for the new term. Holidays are never long enough for me. And the christmas ones cant come round soon enough!
I LOVE my kids at home.
I'm off to bed... not feeling the best. Cant keep warm.. ugh!
add made a lemon meringue pie, a coffee with the neighbour and a trip to town!!! Can you tell im a little lost,LOL!!!
And now i have my black and white photo printed ready to scrap
Lemon meringue pie would definitely have to be close to the top of my lists of favourite desserts! I tend to get very productive on my days off too when I'm home alone...
I've been in a bit of slump the last few days - haven't exercised since Thursday (because I worked extra shifts) and FINALLY made it back to the gym tonight - now I feel like I'm bouncing off the walls!!!
Have some housework to do tomorrow, a couple of errands and a birthday card to make...
I hope you are not coming down with something, Mandy {{hugs}}
awww..Lee-Anne...sory you are having one of "those" days...I'm having one of those cos my little "friend" is due
I loooove lemon meringue pie, Belinda! My first attempt was disappointing because the pastry I used was so HARD you couldn't cut it LOL. The next (homemade) pastry was better but still looking for the "perfect" recipe! So pray tell me..what pastry do you use??
I don't like that "slump" feeling either, Christine. I hope you feel more energetic today.
It's a beautiful Tuesday here...just waiting for a load of clothes to finish washing so I can hang them out. Showered, dressed, animals fed, watered and out enjoying the sun, and even had Cameron do some home-schooling and it's only 10am. I think I'm going to catch up on some sewing projects.
Have a great day!

Lemon Meringue Pie sounds great!
A quiet/busy week here ... quiet as there are no kids around, but busy as we are back into the routine. Swimming lessons today, Gymnastics on Thursdays, and kids coming over on Wed and Fri. They love it! Can't believe it's Term Four already!
Definitely feeling better today thanks Julz - it may have taken me 26 years to figure it out but I think exercise is the key LOL! On target to get everything done today - just have to pop out to do some errands, then some some cards this afternoon, and I have to bake a birthday cake to take to work tomorrow...
