Morning girls. What are your plans for today and this week?

Today I am of to a friends place for a bit and then up to the hospital this afternoon. Mil was taken up there yesterday. Not 100% sure just what is wrong yet but it was a tad scary for all of us yesterday afternoon.

As for the rest of the week. Work and more houses to check out. Hopefully I will get one soon.

Hi Julie! *waves* I hope your MIL is OK and they find out what is wrong. {{hugs}}

My niece's dh ended up in hospital on Friday getting his appendix out. I looked after the twins for them while they were running all sorts of tests. For 48 hours they weren't to sure..and then sent him for a CT scan which revealed what the problem. I believe he went home yesterday  they sure don't keep you in long after surgery now, do they??

I'm having a PJ day here. Got a busy week ahead...All the best with more house hunting!

Well I ended up working today but had a lovely dinner out with my boss tonight to make up for it. It was raining when we got to our local and before I knew it there was a staff member standing at my car door with an umbrella for me - now that's what I call service :-D

Thanks Ant.

She is still in hospital. They have managed to control the bleeding and are keeping an eye on her. They may send her home tomorrow and then book her in to have a colonoscopy done. They think she may have pollops.

{{hugs}} Julie..my mum had that a few years ago. They dealt with them while doing the colonoscopy and she was good to go. No problems now.

I've got a busy morn ...DD16 has a pre-op dental appointment up at the hospital. She's got a tooth (incisor?) that's grown into her jaw so it needs surgery to remove it. Then we have a kids counselling meeting. Then I need to drop of soap to restock the shop that sell on behalf in town. Home for lunch then paper runs.

have a good day!

That's terrible Julie - I thought that was against the law! We ran into that quite a bit when we first started looking in Brisbane. You'd have 20 people looking at the same property!

I hope everything goes well with your daughter Julia!

A very wet day here today - I have a to do list a mile long, luckily I've got a day off to deal with it. But first I think I need some caffeine...

We've filled out the paper work for Sarah's surgery...now we just wait...they said 1-2 months.

Sorry to hear about the house being given to someone else, Julie...that's not right :| I'm sure the perfect place is out there for you ((hugs))

It's been wet here for nearly a week now, Christine. Today dawned sunny, which I was REALLY happy about! :D I hope you get all the things done you need to do.

Well....I'm going to mow the back lawn (my son does the front :D ) and then work on my sketch layout.

Back from the beach - a well timed exit as it rained during the night, then rained again as we left the camp ground. The gear is damp, but not soaking wet! I'll attach a photo below - it's a beautiful spot.

Parcel has arrived from Babinda, so now onto putting together a small album - a girly one for DH's nieces. One of them is in hospital, very unwell and not likely to improve much :(

What a beautiful photo Helen!

And very sorry to hear about your niece.

More packing for me tonight - it's time to pack up my scrapbooking stuff which I'm REALLY not looking forward to. A full day at work tomorrow, then moving Friday, and hopefully some time to work on some more challenges this weekend.

Hope everyone's week is going well!

Hi girls,
Had a wonderful long weekend at scrappy camp; just trying to catch up especially at home, girls have had a lot on and work is just sooooo busy and am working longer hours than I'm used to. I've hardly had computer time!

Its absolutely pouring here and the skies are so dark that I have the lights on. Its settling in for a while I think.

The photo is better than I expected it to be. I couldn't make out the water in the shot below on the screen of my point and shoot - it must have just blended with the sky as it seemed like I was just getting an over-exposed white bit where the sea should have been.

Off to run some errands this morning, then will settle in to doing the album for DH's nieces. Alternating between sunshine and deep cloud here, but the washing is drying slowly and the camping gear is drying.

Good luck with the house hunting this week Julie, it must be so frustrating. And good luck with the packing and moving Christine. Make sure you mark the boxes with your craft gear!
