Morning all.

Not a good start to the week for me out here. Had some bad news overnight that is going to make things a bit crazy for a while. Not going into work but it is going to be a full on day.

Just got two rooms in my house sorted... Just about to go splash some paint round some skirting boards and doors.... fiddly... crappy stuff... (if only this were scrapping - it would be so fun!!) much rather big walls were the roller can just go for it!!!

:P :P :P

Sending hugs your way Julie & Kay! Well I survived my first day back at work (barely!) - there's a bit to catch up on but not as bad as I expected. I'm looking forward to a couple of afternoons off this week to finish organising the house.

Happy Birthday to Rob!

I hadn't heard of a commonplace book Helen but I just Googled it - looks like a great idea!

{{Hugs}} Julie and Kay....
Awww...congrats to your newest family member, Karen.
That beach look really inviting Lee-Anne! It is wet, wet, wet here!

It's was my son's 13th birthday yesterday. I had had a(nother) "difference of opinion" over the weekend with Miss 19 so the day started off a bit teary for me...but got better in the afternoon (when we hugged and talked) Had family coming over for dinner so I spent all afternoon cooking and preparing food (for a shared meal) and trying to make his cake (which turned out a disaster... see my blog below) and then everyone turned up with pizza for me to cook! :o ARGH! So I spent the next hour cooking all these pizzas!! :|

Oh well...such if life. I'm done with birthdays now til next year...

I'm going to have a scrappy afternoon to defrag!

Ahhhh.. Lee-Anne! jealous jealous jealous! I WISH! I'm so snowed under here literally for the moment! THere is absolutely NO hope of getting away.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ROB!!!! :P :P

Glad you were able to sort out with your daughter Julia. I dont tend to have that (yet) with my two at home, but sure did with my eldest  cos she's really strong headed, but at the same time - its being so strong that got her where she is today - there just may be a great payoff down the track

Better got pick up the paint brush :|
