Still no sign of Maggie today. thanks so much for your thoughtfulness, we still very sad here. I've been out walking and calling today. Have looked everywhere, so yes old house and all. (Cockatiels dont possess any 'homing' instincts unfortunately. What they see inside the house they live in, doesnt look the same in the air. So all I can wish for is that she gets hungry and chooses the right person to fly to.
I've got an ad in the paper starting tomorrow, so fingers crossed that someone has found her and rings. (very big sigh)
oh I am sorry to hear that Mandy - all you can do is hope that someone who loves birds has found her and that maybe they will see your add - hears keeping our fingers crossed.
Well Tara and Declan leave on Sunday - has been lovely to have them, but it will be head down, bum up when they leave to get all our BAS etc caught up, have been letting a few jobs go a little while they have been here to spend some extra time with them.
Great to see you you all yesterday Lee-Anne , Danny , Tara and Declan..he is a little cutie pie.Hope Tara got her order worked out...wink wink!!! Have a great last few hours with them both.
Well I just visited your blog and now I'm a blubbering mess.....happy tears of course. Maggie is such a little sweetie. I am so glad you have her back.

Oooh I know Karen and deb.... I have to keep pinching myself!
You can imagine the blubbering I did when she jumped into my hands as soon as she saw us Deb... she is a sweety - she doesnt bite and she 'cuddles' into hands and likes being tickled around her neck....just like a cat! She's being a bit spoilt for that at the moment

Thanks Mel - was lovey to see you and Vicki yesterday too.
The nest is empty again - we had a lovely time with them, but always nice to have the nest to ourselves as well I think Declan will be happy to be in his own bed again and back to normal, and a fantastic back yard to play in at his house - ours is pretty empty

Just in from dinner out at a tapas bar. Had a nice time and will definitely go back and try some other stuff on the menu. Pity there was one silly person who decided that it would be fun to throw an egg or two from a car window at the open windows of the restaurant as we were eating. We missed the main part of it mess thank goodness.
