Huge Hello Everyone I wanted to start asking questions about Journalling.... How do you do your journalling? Ideas on interesting ways to hide Journaling on layouts ....
hi samian I mostly just use the tag behind the photo or mat like julie suggested I am totally lost with the whole journelling thing I don't write well so I do put something on the page I print it up on the computer I think Deb MK suggest in on other thread ( sorry don't know which one ) to stick a small journel block on your page that way you feel you should put something in it

If I am not sure what I want to journal I write a short list of words relevant to the page and then make a few or even just one sentence from them. Such as where, when, who and what was going on. e.g. Beach, Easter 1995, daughter and eating chocolate becomes: In 1992 at Easter we went to the beach for the weekend and Hannah at 2 year old found a chocolate egg and ate it before breakfast. Boy did we have a lively day! I do not usually hide journalling if it is going in a plastic sleeve but some pretty slots or envelopes can be made in other albums, a paper flower not stuck down at the top to slip a tag behind or some such thing. I hope this is helpful.
I get what your mean Helen, I guess depends on how much journaling there is I suppose - If you have a huge story to tell and it takes up an A4 page its best hidden and sometimes you don't want the whole world to read the story only those who its meant for I guess most of the time for me the title and sub titles tell my story even the photo tells its own story

Wow Sam.... go for it girl - you'll do so well!! Your work is gorgeous! I'm not much of journaller - I'm forcing myself to get better at it. I'm not really a hidden journaler either... only cos I just dont think to do it! If only someone stood over me and said - do it!
And Sam - you would be a shoe in for masters your work is stunning - go for it - try coding your journalling as a special way of hiding it and pop the codebreaker somewhere into the layout as well.
