A little step by step done in 6x12 format using the Prima Mask.
You will also need some paint (I used 2 colours) and a sponge.

Step 1. Starting with some white AC cardstock place the mask in the desired spot. The one I have was a bit big for the 6x12 LO I wanted to create so just moved it off the edge a little.

Step 2.
Start dabbing over the entire page, using a damp sponge. Once you have enough of the one colour you can start on the other. (I didn't rinse the sponge....just keep going).

Step 3. Now add some glimmermist......looks a bit messy. Just add as much or as little as you want.

Then using some tweezers, gently lift off the mask.

Step 4.
Very roughly scribble over the masked bits with a green watercolour pencil. Don't be too worried about neatness here. (sorry this photo isn't the best.)
Image
Then using a wet brush, go over the pencil markings to get a watercoloured effect. No need to be too precise with it.....this is just a background.

Step 5.
I wanted to make my spot for photos a little more solid so I swiped some yellow paint over the area.....again very roughly.

Then some white.

Step 6.
Now with a pen, I used brown, roughly outline the masked area.....again don't be too careful and don't worry too much if you don't have all the details in the mask right. You can use a single outline or sort of scratchy like I did.

Step 7.
Now add some goodies over the masked area. I added some Prima flowers, and some little butterflies I cut from some a scrap of Prima paper
and some small buttons from my stash (we all have these lol)

Step 8.
Add some small photos and a title and your done. Easy Peasy.

For the girls who want to get down and messy this weekend - this is stunning - I think I might even give it a go if I get a chance

Bugger, I don't have any of those huge masks.
Might have to find something else or design my own.
