Who’s going to join me again at 8pm Sydney time!

This Blind Scrap will be relatively easy and there is a new technique to learn, so here’s plenty of time to get what you need if you don’t have it already! I promise you will love it!
This will have bows on it – so its girly – though I’ve made this about my boy cat!.. :P Whatever subject you choose...but happy with bows

What you need is….

One 12x12 background paper

2 contrasting papers
- 5 ½ x 10 ½ inches
- 4 x 9 ½ inches

3 photos
approx about 3x2 inches or similar size – doesn’t matter if they are slightly bigger (either portrait or landscape or a mixture of both)

Mist – about the colour of your background paper if you can, or contrasting colour if not.

Technique to learn –
you will need 2inch white gauze bandage

Ink

bigger alpha for title

little alpha (like carolee creations etc)

Fine felt tip pen (mines black)

5 buttons

an embellishment or small embellishment clusters to suit

optional – trim to measure a bottom or top edge of 2 of the photos. (I’ve used Fancy Pants bauble trim)

Plenty of time to gather!!!!
Its date…put it in your diary!!

Maya Road Mists are found here...

Theres yellowy cream, evergreen, a pinky orange, seafoam green and turquoise.

I have a feeling maybe there may be more maybe in other brands (if I'm not mistaken)in the shop but not online so will PM Lee=Anne about getting some more up if they are

I am about to go back to NZ in the next few days but will be back in time for this blind scrap.

Hopefully I will get a chance (my daughter will be visiting still at this time)

Have been a bit absent from this forum. Life has been a little crazy, but hope to do some July challenges.

Cheers

Deb

I've got a pink one here. Think I may need to get another colour, maybe a brown. What would be the best brown Missy Mandy.

It depends on what your background colour is perhaps Julie.... if its a pinky LO... then go with the pink... but brown is a great colour to have on hand.. its fab for spraying tags and chipboard stuff!! That vintage worn look. Then again, all colour mists are great for chipboard rather than having to paint. and if you spray chipboard on a piece of background paper ... the negative left behind is marvelous - especially trees and branches. And mists are great too if the page is looking a little too bland - just a quick spray in an area works magic.

I have SHELF full of mists and I LOVE them!
