Oh DEB! you really have pressed some creative buttons for me! i love how you have inked up the corners to give that depth and texture! ssooo so so love this idea! i am going to try this on a layout! and i'm thinking up a bit of an OTP idea with this scrap idea! oh your so clever Deb!

Here is my take on it.

I used the front of a Teresa Collins album cover as my base and hepas of my black, white and pink scraps to a create a canvas for Asher's room.

I REALLY loved doing this!!!
So I am going to do it again with different papers similar to the colours you used Deb.
I wanted to scrap some Easter photos from last weekend so used bright coloured Easter paper and muted it down with a coat of white paint over the whole page.

I used this technique to use up some green/blue basic grey scraps - filled two 12x12 white card inserts and then paint - mixed a kind of icky green but it actually works LOL! So now I have grabbed out a sheet of pagemaps doubles for inspiration and I am scrapping a double layout of photos of my kids visiting with their cousins. Sort of reached a stalemate last night and went to bed, so hopefully all will come clear and I will get it finished and in the gallery in a few days.
