This month our scrap ahead LO is an 8 1/2" X 11" page but can easily be adjusted to a 12 x 12.
If you have a heart punch then your job is made easy but I have hand drawn a little heart template.......
and from 3 different papers I have traced out 5 hearts from each and drawn around the outline in a fairly thick pen so that when I cut them out they have an "edge".
Lay the 5 hearts around to form a flower........
then I've glued a punched and inked circle to the centre which keeps the petals together. Alternatively you could glue a circle to the back of the flower to keep it together and use a button or a punched or purchased smaller flower for the centre.
You can add so much more to these flowers.....leaves, sparkles etc and you could put them on pop dots to add dimension.
I've cut strips from the left over papers and "V'ed" them at one end to tuck under the flowers on the LO but you can use ribbon or a plain paper scrap instead. You can also add a couple of strips of scrap paper to the bottom of the page (I'ved used a decorative strip and a pleated scrap of paper to mine) Add a photo and a title above it but because my decorative strip at the bottom has words on it, I won't add a title to mine.
