Hey Gis. Thank you for asking.... the idea is use the tutorial and the time during that month to take your shots and then upload the best 3 to be in the running for the voucher.
"QUOTE" So using any of the previous tutorials I’ve written; Landscape, Portraiture, Action, Macro, Bokeh, Sunflare, Black and White, grab your phone, plan your shot and how you want the end result to look so you can scrap it, get out there and shoot it.
Load up your best 3 shots in the Tiff's March Photo Challenge album for the chance to win a $25 Scrap Therapy Voucher that’s valid for a month upon receipt of the voucher code. "UNQUOTE"
You are more than welcome to upload any shots you've taken during the month into this thread for feedback and suggestions. So the one's of the little girl in sunnies in full sun and and undercover, pop them here in this thread for critiquing (I don't critique unless I'm asked to, as I don't won't to offend anyone), but I'm more than happy to put on my 'south australian rural camera club judge' hat and offer helpful tips and advice
In regarding to the the three you've loaded into the challenge folder, they will have to stay there as your 3 for this month.
If you are keen to scrap one or all of those three best shots in the challenge folder, go for it, you just can't load it up into the gallery until the 'shoot it, scrap it' challenge is announced, which is on the last Friday of the month.

Hey there Karen.... what a cutie pic of your little man. Good for you noticing the 'hot spots' in the pic. If anyone is not sure what we mean, its that blown out spot of white on the front of the nappy where there is no detail at all, and thru the window of the train on the top right side of frame.
To be honest Karen, other than trying to include his feet in the shot, so he's not 'cut off', which also means losing a bit of the top of the train, I wouldn't do anything different.
To include all of him and the all of the train, praps take a step back if that was possible. He's the main focus of the shot, there's enough of the train to give it a sense of where the shot was taken to trigger a memory later on down the track.

only a few days left shutterbugs to get your smartphone photos into the challenge folder for the chance to win the $25 voucher . . . . . and . . . . you need to have those photos in the gallery so you can then scrap them in my second challenge which goes live THIS Friday night.

I left my camera at home when I went away to Wellington last week. I did take a few pics on my phone though AND my BIL kindly loaned me his DSLR to use while I was out and about. Off to check out my pics...
