Just LOVE your shot Sandie! that is just gorgeous! Trisha - love that fun pic to and your portrait!
I was 'accidently' shooting in RAW and I had NO idea how much room on my computer the pics had taken up until Tiff told me.... I couldnt get rid of them quick enough - AND I got almost half my computer space back!!!

you are most welcome ladies. Glad to hear that I'm being useful. And it very gratifying to hear that I am helping someone a little bit.
And Mandy is exactly right. The large RAW files (mine are 21MB EACH) eat up most of my hard drive.
Once I am happy and finished fiddling with the shot, I save it as a Jpg and usually delete all the RAW's. Otherwise I would have about 5 Terabite external hard drives to hold my data. And that is a bit ridiculous.

what an awesome shot. You should scan that (save it on your hard drive) print it and scrap the story of the two men. If you don't pass on the story or even their names to the next generation then that significance of that photo is lost forever.
use a duplicate of the photo Gypsy and keep the original one in a very safe place.

Totally agree with passing on the stories!! it would be terrible to loose that on the photos journey from generation to generation.... though I scrap my very old photos - so they are safe
for now it is safely shared in the scraptherapy forum too but I am with the girls - print a copy and get it scrapped - that is stunning and what a good looking fellow

hiya Team.
this is the last week to get those portrait shots scrapped up and loaded into this gallery for the chance of the $25 voucher.
just letting all those who were keen on capturing sunflares, that challenge will be closed on August 31st. (1 week's time).
have a read of this tutorial and the link for the challenge gallery is in the tute. Remember you need to get those sunflare shots into the gallery to be eligible for the next 'Shoot It, Scrap It' challenge
