I would like to revisit our Macro tutorial and with that in mind, let's take a look at our Christmas Tree and all those special ornaments that have significant meanings.
Read the tute, pick up the camera and lets shoot those important baubles. I've a LO coming up in the next Scrapbooking Memories that showcases a photo I took last year of a very special angel. While I can't reveal the LO here, yet, I can show you the pic.
Using a slightly higher fstop, step back bit and take in the details of you kids writing their letters to Father Christmas.
And then the photo of their letters. This is how you can incorporate what they wrote into a LO (seeing that the original letter goes to the North Pole.)
And if you play around with templates (you can do template in Word btw) you can do something like these.
These are my next two LO's to do. I'll post them here when I've got them complete. I'd love for you to show me what you've captured, created and completed as a LO.
Don't forget that at the end of December there will be a $25 voucher up for grabs kindly donated by Lee-Anne and Danni of Scrap Therapy for the winning image of Christmas. Place your ONE best shot of Christmas, whether its a lead up shot or one from your Christmas day in THIS (All Things Christmas - Tiff's Christmas Photo Challenges in the November challenges) folder to be in the running. Entries close Dec 31st midnight (new year's eve) and the winner will be announced on the first Saturday in January along with all the other stars and stand outs from other forum challenges.

One of the christmas tradtions that I started 4 years ago was to collect the Swarovski annual christmas ornament. The ornamnet is a crystal star with a little tag for the year. I have stars now from 2008. This week I recieved 2011's star and a refresher on macro tutorial has been just what I needed to take a photo of the star. My aim is to collect one every year and eventually I will have a whole xmas tree full of them
I have some decorations I have received from an online friend in America. Maybe I could scrap pics of them? I have some photos somewhere... (on the hardrive..or cd. I'll have to have a hunt...
