if you cant find the manual, google the make and type of camera with the word manual and see if that helps. you are looking to change the type of file. so look for JPG, RAW or file type, file settings or something like that.
Wonderful to know that I'm helping a bit. It really is!!!!

Mandy. that's a great lens for sports day, assemblies or stage productions. But if your other camera does it better for you, then stay with what your comfy with until you get a hang of the camera settings and what they mean. Then we'll switch you over.

Well I pulled out my little booklet that came with my camera....thought I had thrown it out as you do. I can't find this f stop thingy. It comes up on the bottom of my camera but I can't find where to change it .....I changed just about everything else. I had a little play yesterday and got totally confused and annoyed the heck out of my cat who was trying to sleep and I kept asking her to smile for the camera. So.....I'm gonna keep playing this arve and see if I can find this f thingy so that I can change it ...... it says F2.8 down the bottom of the screen.
have a look in here for any way to adjust your fstop.
If you cant find your own manual I would suggest you print this one out. its 127 pages so I would print back to back (duplex print) if you can so save paper.
