Thought I'd show you some here:

I was photographing this: (through the kitchen window)
Two little finches together (they kinda get lost in the colour) but see that top finch - it was giving filthy looks to the other little finch who was just resting.....


Then as I was clicking... the top finch just flew at the other little finch!!
And check out the sparrow at the top left just looking on all comfy!



I had this set to 'P' too.

Birds have such personality! I love them!

lol at the look on the face of the top birdie.....something's upset him for sure.


This is the original photo I cropped out the branch and changed to B&W taken early in the morning.

Here's my colour pic of our garden lizard...

isnt it cute as...got a pic of its tongue out!!! Its looking straight at the camera!

All I keep looking at is how the bowl on the birdbath isn't centered. It is so heavy that DH has the job of cleaning and refilling and putting back.....yeh not in the centre.

I wondered what your lizard had in his mouth.....hehe it's a tongue of course.

LOL Deb... your dh sounds the same as mine!!! Does look like a VERY heavy bath... love it though - its stunning!

Yeah..its a blue tongued lizard.... my garden is full of them. Every time I go out to the clothline in the morning, I always take out some cat biscuits for them and they hear me!! As soon as I drop my basket, the rustling begins and they come from all directions!

wow girls. how cool to have that gorgeous bird bath to entice all those finches. That is a fabo shot Deb. I really like the wing blur as it shows action and some the the finches looking up at him.

and Mandy. That lizard is blowing you raspberries. Great focus on his eyes and how the background blurs away.

I'm thinking about it... we've had the most miserable weather for the poor birds... the minute they come out of hiding - down comes the rain!

As soon this wretched changeable weather clears up I'll be aiming my camera...
