I was playing around with some of the graphic 45 christmas papers and when I saw the A Christmas Carol paper by Graphic 45 I knew I wanted to make up a banner of some sort with the Carol panels.
and if I get half a chance I am going to scraplift this missy - with your permission of course - and make one for the shop - it is divine - I so love the Christmas papers from G45 - they are to die for
Took a look at the paper too, and really think I am going to have to get some of that. I made some Christmas cards a few years ago, on which I pasted some photocopied christmas carol music. But it was white paper and at that time I had no way of colouring it to make it look older. Have a few more clues about these days, but maybe I can just buy the ready made paper and not have to worry about aging it??!!!
You know years and years ago - maybe even 18 I remember making something and wanting an aged effect on paper - I dipped it in tea and then burnt the edges - it is so much easier these days with pre-died paper and ink for the edging
