Did you notice the background on my 'Miss This' layout last week?
Thought I'd show you how I created it and repeated the process on a set of cards.
Step 1
Trim your papers to 4x5 3/4 inch (dark paper would work better) and 3 1/2x5 1/4 inch (collaged print)
Step 2
Layer them together.
Step 3
Using a paint dauber swipe over the top piece running over the edges slightly.
Step 4
Gather some scraps. Torn doilies, book pages and papers. Attach them over the paint.
Step 5
Once you have all your scraps on swipe over again with the paint.
Step 6
Lift the edges to make a tray revealing parts of the paint on the dark background.
Step 7
Swipe the background with some ink to soften the white.
Once you have your background done now is the fun part. Attach it to a card base and embellish.
Using Kraft card stock, Prima Romance novel wordsmith 12x12,Romance novel 6x6 pad,Resin birds and Kaiser pearls.
