June's Photography Tutorial and Challenge - Watermarking Images

The pirating of images and cloning/cropping out of watermarks is such a big no no in the photography industry, so it pays to place the watermark in an area that would take more effort than its worth.
Watermarking is another way to promote your name as a Scrapbooker or your blog name. Its a form of advertising of your work.

The eye contact of the puppy is so engaging. The watermark is subtle and placed in an area that makes it slightly harder to clone out if someone was determined too. Well done.

The colour just pops with the rose. The depth of field is well handled and the rain drops on the petals gives it added interest. Lovely.
