Here is the sketch for this month.

Image

Along with the sketch as a starting point for your layout or two card set I would like you to use at least 1 coloured embellishment.

Dreamer.

Using.
WRMK Anotholgie Potpouri 12x12 paper Prima flower spray.

Image

Happy birthday card set.

Image

Using.

WRMK Anotholgie 6x6 pad Mint cardstock

I had fun changing the colour of some white seam binding with my Marvy markers. Here are the few simple steps I used.

Step 1.

Image

Run the marker over the seam binding. If you would like a deeper more intense colour go over it a few times. I like mine to have a more mottled look so I tend to colour it unevenly.

Step 2. If you want your ribbon to have a crinkled look scrunch it while it is still wet.

Image

Step 3. Tie it into a bow and add it onto your project.

Pages must be newly created solely for the use of this challenge and may not be used in any other challenge until winners are announced. All entries must be non-digital and in the correct folder in the gallery corresponding to challenge undertaken and are due by midnight of the last day of the month. The winner will receive a $25 Scraptherapy Voucher, which will be valid for one month from the date of issue. If vouchers are not able to be used within that time for some reason the voucher can be RAK'd to a friend for their use.

I love the look of the cards and layout. Maybe once again I will try and get somewhere this month.

I don't know why I got into making cards. I am starting to get a collection of them. But still not a 100% correct. At least I am trying.

Have a wonderful weekend peoples I am off to babysit my niece and nephew while Sister studies.

Can I ask you what "coloured embellishment" means please? Is it an embellishment that we colour ourselves or just an embellishment that has colour on it already?

It is one that you have coloured yourself. It need not be with the markers like I have done. Some of the the other girls have put up some great ideas on using different mediums like glimermists, distress stains and pan pastels. Other ways is to use paint or ink.
