Onto our second letter for June.......the letter "Q".
The challenge is for you to be inspired by a word starting with the given letter and create a layout showing somewhere on your page the word that your layout was inspired by. This can be in the title or in your journalling (we need to be able to see it).
The extra criteria for this letter is to add a quote to your layout.
Don't ya just love quotes from Pooh bear......I know I do. This is one of my favourites. The Pooh silhouette is actually part of a black plastic cover from a notebook belonging to my DD. I came across it while I was doing a bit of decluttering. I coloured some white cardstock with Tim Holtz wild honey distress stain and then printed the quote on it and popped it under the plastic cover. I've then popped a frame cut from Graphic 45 ABC Primer collection (Happy go Lucky) over the top with some pop dots. For the layout background I have used Kraft cardstock, roughly divided it up into sections with a fairly thick black pen and began painting with Tim Holtz distress stains (wild honey, peeled paint and vintage photo). Once dry I misted with Tattered Angels mist (Sugar Maple).
The word QUOTE and Pooh were made from scraps of Teresa Collins canvas, misting over a stencil then went around QUOTE in black pen.
I've cut a frame from Graphic 45 ABC Primer collection (games and playtime) and popped it over the top of the layout to cover the "ends" of my sections iykwim. I've also added some extra doodling and bits and pieces to the page.
