I'm not - Mr Squiggle was one of my very very first creative influences in life - a person with a pencil for a nose - how very cool was that!
So this month I have told the DT to have a play with drawing, colouring and all that sort of stuff - it's no longer just paper and glue people and you will love what the DT have in store for you this month!
Oh no - maybe I am showing my age - her is a link for the young'uns out there http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Squiggle but lets just say it is now about paper and glue AND colouring in
I have not heard of Mr Squiggle either. Maybe it's not an age thing totally........I am 'old' but also in New Zealand, so maybe we didn't have him over here, and my kids were not in the right age bracket either, perhaps. Anyway, I also googled him and found him. Will be interesting to see what challenges the DT come up with.
You're not showing your age Lee-Anne - Mr Squiggle was part of my childhood too! I always liked Blackboard.... "Hurrrrrrrrrrry Uuuuuuuuup" lol! (Maybe he was just an Aussie thing...)
You have me intrigued now - can't wait to see what the girls have been doing!
and remember most of his drawings were upside down and oooooo what a surprise when Miss Pat turned them up the right way. I so want to scrap Mr Squiggle right now.
