I loved Mr Squiggle. He was cool. "Its upside down Miss Jane". Then blackboard "hurry up hurry up". Now everyone know how old I am? Queit Miss Christine Benson.
"HERE'S MR SQUIGGLE LOTS OF FUN FOR EVERYONE, HERE'S MR SQUIGGLE SING A HAPPY TUNE, YOU CAN SEE WE'RE AS HAPPY AS CAN BE MR SQUIGGLE THE MAN FROM THE MOON!"
He was my favourite I can't believe that song just rolled off my tongue with ease!!

Hey! Be nice - I remember him too and I'm quite a few years younger than you KC LOL!
i know of mr squiggle and i think my girls even have a story book of him in their bookcase. i didnt meet him when i was little, but have a basic idea of who he is great idea
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I loved Mr Squiggle as a child. My kids are intrigued by him, they use to love hearing about him and I used to do Mr Sqiggle type drawings for them to finish (when they were little)....
Bill Dozer was my favourite. For the record, I am from the Miss Jane era. The creator of Mr Squiggle, Bill Hetherington, only died about a year ago. There was a great outpouring of tributes. I'm sure almost all Australian Gen Xers grew up with Mr Squiggle. A very clever and original creation.
