Hello Lovelies!!! Hope you are having a fab weekend.. A little bit of fun to share with you tonight.. hope it makes you smile

While i was playing today, getting myself ready for next week... Ash was sitting beside me, doing his own very special project for you all.. Apparently he likes to call it the splodge technique.. ( he's been watching to much Mr Maker... )

First of all you take your work surface, in this case, he's been watching Mummy and is using a tag, you take your chosen colours of distress stain, and tap them down onto your tag/ project to make splats of colour, ( a way i'd never thought of using my stains )


repeat as necessary to finish your project...

Well girls it is not yet time for tonight's reveals but this one was just so cute I had to let you all see it early - I think we have a budding artist in our midst! Love the new technique Mr Ashie!

I think his mum is certainly his inspiration Tiff - but if I know anything Ashie has probably watched a few Tim Holtz tutorials in his life too

I have to be honest I LOVE Mister Maker! and I find myself inspired by how my kids create, so freely and carefree,

Ash is totally onto some thing here! Splat tech will take the scrappen world by storm, and poking the tounge out always makes it MORE FUN! :}

I am with you Sam, if I had a penny for every single time I have said to the girls in class "let go of your fears and pretend you are a kid again playing with paper and paint" I would be rich! Kids have a way of showing how to do it, no knowledge of what is "right" or "wrong" and an ability to just PLAY!
