This is so much fun and I was surprised by how good the results looked.
To start with grab a large sheet of baking paper. This is what we are spraying our mists onto for the chipboard to soak them up from. Put everything you are going to need within reach before you start.
Baking Paper is non absorbent so the mist will pool on it. You could either spray the paper or remove the lid and pour a little bit out. You'll need a little more than you think.
Place your chipboard upside down into the pool of misted colour. I was surprised how much the chipboard 'sucked up' the colour. When I finished all three heads of wheat, I had no excess spray on the baking paper at all.

To be sure the chip pieces were completely dry, I let them air overnight. And to give the same colour hues as the wheat in the crop I sprayed some Gold Glimmermist on the Baking Paper so it pooled in little puddles and pressed the chip pieces into it. I just wanted dots of gold, not complete coverage.
