Hi Guys.. Back again, I just wanted to share with you a quick little how to for the gorgeous new Tim Holtz Snowflake Dies - Snowflake Rosette and Mini Snowflake Rosettes I have used the Snowflake rosette - this one has the bigger single snowflake on it ![]() These dies are a little different to the other Tim Holtz Bigz Dies - These - the Sizzlitts Decorative Strip dies will only cut paper and cardstock. Chose your paper that you want to use, and run through your die cutting machine. ![]() Then because i have used Kraft paper, I have swiped over the edges of the die cut pieces with a white paint dabber. ![]() Once it's dry you can fold your long strip piece. When you are folding these you need to fold the like a concertina - first one way then the other.. until you get to the end. ![]() Put a small amount of glue on one end and glue the ends together, they should overlap each ther to give you a nice finshed edge. ![]() I like to have a small piece of scrap cardstock to use as a base - I spread this with a thin layer of glue, Then gently rest the rosette on it's tips on your work surface, with your scrap piece in the centre. Gently push down on your rosette. ![]() ![]() It should flatten and form a circle, sticking it to your base piece . ![]() The put a thin layer of glue on your top snowflake piece and stick on top of the rosette to finsih it off. ![]() I have then swipped a very thin layer of glue just around and over the edges, ![]() and sprinkled it with Rock Candy Dry glitter, shake off the excess glitter and let it dry.... ![]() Tahh Dahh you have a very cool snowflake ![]() Products Used: Snowflake Rosette Kraft Card White Paint Distress Stickles Rock Candy Dry Glitter |
