Here is my Day 5.

Thanks girls...its soooo fun. It was Paige's birthday yesterday so I've got some great pics for that.
At them moment I have 7 girls fast asleep on my loungeroom floor in sleeping bags - and 7 glasses on the sink with the remnants of creaming soda and icecream spiders in them and potato chip crumbs everywhere

Love your page Deb, tomorrow is THE day to get out the Christmas decorations (buried in boxes in shed!!) and decorate this house for the first time. Gonna be a bit of fun! So will have a photo or two for that.
We dont put up the decorations until Paige's birthday is out of the way. She doesnt like it to mix with Christmas which is fair enough

Me too. I have a couple of pages done without the journalling. Lots of photos.

Day 6 .....



Went to a school carol's night to watch GD perform. I was a bit disappointed with my night time photography skills so picked out the best of them and made 3 tags and popped small photos on them with journalling on the back and then just popped them into a pocket. Although the pics aren't great they are there.

Thats all that matters Deb... they are there! I completed Paige's birthday ones and got to say - I think my slr camera is just not working as well as it could... its pics are not clear.. may as well took the pics on a phone, it would be better... sigh... but like you say - at least they are there.

I'll photograph my pages today.

LOVE your pocket.. thats a great idea especially when there's quite a few pics to squeeze in on a busy day!

I worked on another couple of pages today but I'm so tired now so going to hop into bed and put pics up in the morning.

Paiges 16th birthday - she always manages to have a page in the DDaily!




7th
This seems like an awful heading for a DDaily page, but - its a book/dvd series and a (older) teenage craze atm... and heavily discussed at Paiges birthday party. Weeeell it's whats being read etc in our house this Dec (heaven forbid- I think its just horribly awful !)and luckily its only one genre appreciated by my girls (phew) LOL I wont write my opinion of it in the DecDaily (but can certainly write it here) as I'm sure I'd be viewed as a 'dinosaur fuddy-duddy'!




8th
Lastly, Hannah and Paige had practice today - Christmas Carols Concert which they have a duet. I managed to sneak in at the end just in time to hear their song,(Angel's Carol) weeeeeeell - I was reduced to tears hearing their voices harmonise - I felt a bit silly, but no matter - was way full of pride ( and sneaked a pic through the tears hoping it wouldnt be blurry)

I'm loving this size too, Mandy. Really enjoying adding different size inserts as well. I don't think I could go back to doing anything much smaller now. Even though I didn't do the pre-done pages, I'm still finding it quite easy using mainly the Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage range of goodies. In saying that though, I sort of liked my mixed up bits and pieces last year too. I've done 7th and 8th but too late to photograph now so will pop them up tomorrow. They are both very simple on the outside but have added a tag/pocket which explains what they are all about.

Deb, my pages are simple but I still used a lot of brain-cells to make them lol! I'm just uploading my pics now....

I haven't added any journalling yet..some things are too hard to write right now...
