I had to get it done Mandy, or else I knew once I went back to work the mojo would dissappear again, so over the last holidays, Mum came over a couple of days and I got it all covered and layered ready for photos, journalling and embellishing. Here is the cover and inside page of front cover

I got some bits and pieces from Scraptherapy's bargain bin when I was there this year (can't remember if was April or August visit!). Some Bella Christmas papers and chipboards. Red and white - my lesson from last year was that I shouldn't challenge myself with complicated colour schemes at such a busy time of year.
I reckon I will get the basics done beforehand this year - just the pages cut to size, a box with offcuts, ribbons, stamps, inks etc. I might also have a couple of fill-in pages ready for those days when I just don't get a photo - I put a couple of recipes in last year for example.
And start reading through all of Tiff's wonderful tutorials again.

I'm hoping to give this a go, great memories for the future. I know for sure I'm going to put my rum ball recipe in. Every year I struggle to find it lol. December is such a full on time with so much little detail you could so easily forget. I'd like to also do a page for each Xmas party we attend, as most are in November I'm adding extra work but it'll be worth it

I remember how reluctant you were Deb hee hee... then fell hook, line and sinker!! Oooh Sarah, I'm sure you will totally love it too. Thats right, with what Helen says and you too - it can be recipes or even things that really dont represent christmas but still was part of what you were doing in December anyhows. Its all interesting to look back at 'Christmas' Past'!
This will be my forth Dec Daily - and I love mine way to bits - so do the family! They are massive conversational pieces by family and friends etc when sitting on the coffee table.
