Yep, thats the key Deb, I've learnt that
One of the things I like to have is a few of those 12x12 sheets with the blocks of numbers on them so they can be cut out and used as the dates. Like these..
and I know you can find some in the Simple Stories Kit and Noel Kits as well, just to name a couple.
If I see any sheets like this, I usually grab them and cut them up and put them into little plastic bags in number order, so when doing dates - I have a selection. Of course you could just use non-christmas numbers too
I've got my thinking cap on and working on a little bag of bits and pieces. I don't have a heap of stuff left from Christmas's past but am looking forward to getting in and getting this done along with a few other little extras this year.....time for me to be a Christmas scrapper.
That's the part I'm worried about I'll forget to take a pic so there will probably be a bit of journalling happening in mine plus I thought if I forget to take a pic......how about a little quote about Christmas. BUT I am going to try very hard to remember to take a photo.
Thankyou. The photos really helped. I understand it now. I really going to give it a go. I love the idea. So basically I can scrap the pages first then take the photo to suit the page when December Comes. 24th is my family huge christmas. My mother and her family are from Norway where they mostly celebrate the 24th.

Thanks heaps!...fabulous - so glad you are going to give it a go!!
Ant, Deb and girls... here's what I've written in the post where I've shown you a couple of pages of my 2009 Daily -
The thing is.... it doesnt have to be a photo a day - it could be thoughts or a ticket... or a recipe, a shopping/grocery list - anything - I'm going to try do a bit more of this.
I'll add this to the first post in the thread too so its not hard to find and explains a little better
I don't have kiddies or anything to take pics of - all my photos come from Christmas Eve (Kay's family) or Christmas day (the rest of the gang). The family used to take turns having it someone's house each year but it's been at Kay's Parent's for about the past 10 years running! LOL! Truth be told, they are the biggest part of the family, and they have a swimming pool so noone has complained yet

Oooh all the more reason to scrap it... what you just said is sooo scrapable! and it doesnt need to be about kids... its about you and your every day life up until Christmas....
Hey Mandy - I just took a peek at the Noel Kit by Teresa Collins - I know you said it had covers in it, but what do you use for the pages? Do you just cut down cardstock to the same shape/size as the covers to use as pages & go from there?

Its a shame the there is only one pic in the shop of the covers and not of the lovely doublesided cardstock with gorgeous patterns that comes with it too.
Here are two albums I've done in the same sized kit (in 2 other lines of Teresa Collins) back in April (and the 'Freestyle' papers (seperate, not in a kit) have just been uploaded in the New Section in the shop)
Both have step by steps how I did them
Freestyle This one I traced the shape of the covers and cut the paper a bit smaller.
Giving Thanks I cut the pages rectangle to fit...much easier.
If you like... I'll take a piccy of the Noel paper and upload it here. it will give you an idea (I have used some of the kit) - it really is very nice and the pic in the shop doesnt do it any justice!!
