Here's the pics of the paper in the Teresa Collins Noel kit, I've taken the photo of one side then flipped the lot over and taken a pic of the other side... there's nine papers, two sheets of diecuts (used some of these already) and the covers and 4 jumprings

I've made a decision on my covers... I'm going with the covers from the Teresa Collins Noel Kit cos they are pretty cool!
Just going to put kraft paper over the top of that bold white and red print...
Got a plan!!
Okey dokey - who's up for some covers?
Maybe you can check Deb's tutorial when she made her own covers for her abc'z album? Check it out here Lots of scrappers make their own covers for Dec Dailys Maybe you already have some...but need covering with an appropriate paper to make it more festive? OR you can even use old book covers!! Seen that before and wow it looks stunning! Maybe I'll do that next year!
Or you could use a ready made album like my 2009 one
Put up your progress here... we all want to see how you are doing it!
Dont worry if you are feel like you cant start yours now, or get left behind... remember my last two years -I did as I went long in December! No wrong or right way- just your way with your touch!
I'm doing it again this year. This is my 3rd year too! And I have loved every year doing the DD. I have all the Christmas-y things together but am undecided on the album or covers still. Haven't had time to think about it. We are at home this weekend so I may get stuck into it then.

Here's my covers... and my first page(which is down the bottom) I'll show you how I've done them too! (sorry about the unavoidable reflection of my camera hands and arms
Covers and jump rings - Teresa Collins Noel Kit 2 x Paper (one each for the back and front cover. Also the pic in the shop is much 'greyer' than what it is in real life. Its the same as what I've photographed. I bought the 25sheet pack)- Kraft Overlay - Fancy Pants The Season Transparency Stickers from Simple Stories Christmas Kit which will be the basis of the December Daily throughout
Here's how I put it altogether:
Placed the side of the glued-up cover not wanted face down onto the Kraft paper
Cut out the cover and then flip over to the right side and sand the edges- Love my Basic Grey File Set!
Here's one done and now to tackle the back cover - cover up that white and red!
Here's where I add the transparency. (At this stage I wasnt sure whether to have a vertical album or horizontal one) Turn the cover face down and trim with a knife around the shape of the cover (which I havent done in the photo its still face up)
So happy with the it! And how cool is the transparency! (will be cutting out more of the transparency to put in the album somewhere - maybe get a coupla others! ) I've choosen to use 3 jumprings
I've flipped over the cover and stuck my page for December 1st on the other side.
When it comes to adding my pics and if the colours are clashy - then I'll black and white my photos..... also will add any further embellies at that time too.
But at least for now - the basis has been covered (pardon the pun )
Hope you like, hope you are planning or thinking about planning yours... dont forget to put piccies and thoughts here...
Well, I've done my covers out of a ST pizza box and I've found a few papers (non - Christmas) in reds, greens, yellows and browns and they look ok together. I'm trying to use up some stash on mine being the first one I' ve done. I'm hoping I haven't made it a bit too small. It's ended up about 4 x 6 so the pics won't be big but I've made a start anyhows. Will take a pic in the morning.

I think thats just it Deb... you learn with each one you do - like I did with the bigger canvas one last year ! You might find this is the perfect size to do... and scraps are fabby to use up. Even though I'm using the Simple Stories Kit - the embellie scraps I have (we all have a box of those I'm sure ) like bits of left over ribbon and one brad left out of a container etc - thats the sort of thing I'll be using up Cant wait to see it!
This looks amazing Mandy - I love that overlay on it - wow!
Deb you are a braver girl than me - the pizza boxes in time will go mouldy if stored out of air con for too long - please please please smother them im mod podge or something similar if using them for album covers

Thanks Lee-Anne, and wow about the mouldy trouble! This is one of the few times I'm grateful for cooler weather... we dont need to think of that here. Good ole modge-podge though!!! It'll fix it!
