Oh Deb! i really really really loved doing this with my scraps! i scrapped a layout with the Wecolme Home scraps and then i even took it one further and created a cover for an exersise book with a whole bunch of stiching really reminds me of a quilt...lol totally love this way of using up scraps and now rethinking what i do with my left overs :)

Just popped my up in the gallery as i'm alittle confused how to pop up my pics in the forum...lol not much of a texh head..lol

still thanks for the loads of inspiration!

I used this technique to use up some green/blue basic grey scraps - filled two 12x12 white card inserts and then paint - mixed a kind of icky green but it actually works LOL! So now I have grabbed out a sheet of pagemaps doubles for inspiration and I am scrapping a double layout of photos of my kids visiting with their cousins. Sort of reached a stalemate last night and went to bed, so hopefully all will come clear and I will get it finished and in the gallery in a few days.

Deb

Looking forward to seeing it, Deb. :D

Hi Katsky - welcome aboard all the way from Utah - how very exciting - Danny and I were there just a couple of months ago - you live in a lovely part of the world
