I've got PS7, CS2, CS3, CS4 and CS5. I've had CS3,4 and 5 all on and had no issues running the lastest one with the older ones on there. I kept the others for just in case in the past. I've not long deleted PS7, CS2 and CS3. I've still got CS4 for the 'oh s**T' case.

how about you download the 30 day free trial one and see how your system goes with it.

If you delete all the RAW files that you are not using re a question for tiff when she has time thread, that should save you a heap of space. go into each folder that has your pics in it, right click and sort the images by 'type'. this will bunch all the jpgs, RAWs and others together. You can easily select the RAWs by holding down the shift key and left click the first RAW file and the last RAW file. This will select them all and do a delete. Mass exodus. Love time savers.

When you've deleted them all, don't forgot to empty your recycle bin.

Thanks for that link Tiff, I might have to download the free trial and see how I go.

Mandy, I know the freebies aren't ideal but are OK for basic stuff. One of the reasons that I haven't bought PS is that I am too busy/lazy to learn to use it  ! It just feels like another thing that I have to find time for but given that Tiff is here to help with it I might just have to give it a go :D

Ronnie3 I hardly ever use Word or Publisher anymore. I admit it took me a while to get the hang of it but once the concept of how its all based around 'layers' it all fell into place. I have it open all the time, so I can quickly get something done. The more you use it, the more you'll learn.

Back at the beginning, I organised a group of 8 people and with Open Access Collage, we had 2 terms of telephone conferencing to teach us all how to start PS. I had Photoshop Elements 7 at that time. (PSE7). That's what gave me the confidence to start roaming around within PS and learn stuff.

love to help
