Ant. that last one of your son is a rippa.

He's engaged at the camera, he's showing some of his personality, its well lit, you've composed well with him filling the frame and you have catchlights from the flash.

awesome!!!!

t :D

your sheep have such character. this one gives the air of 'whatever!!!'

did you use flash. The eye is a bit flat. I can see that its resting in the shade so the flash would have 'brightened' Ali BAA BAA ( ) up.

sorry about the poor attempt at humor  lol

cheers.
tiff :)

Danni. you've done well. Wouldn't one of these be lovely if you had it printed and put in a frame for your sister to have with her when she's not well during her treatment. Even a wallet size print to put in her purse.

I think I like the second one more. Only because her head is on a slightly more natural angle. The green in the background is the only thing that draws the eye away. Well lit and composed.

This would be a great BW for that frame.

Having her hair back behind her ear in the first image has revealed more of her lovely smooth skin. And shows her earring. Beautifully lit by the open window. Side light is gorgeous on good skin, dreadful on less than perfect skin (it shows every lump and bump).

love to see one of these as a BW.

tiff :)

awwww he's so cute scoutannie.

Can I suggest you turn him around so he's facing the natural light from your window, with your back to the window.
Just watch that your shadow doesn't fall across him. Natural light is so flattering, and your flash has cast a very yellow colour so the light diffused thru your light net curtain should diffuse nicely.
or
turn these into BW and problem of the yellow cast is solved.

Were you looking for quirky horizons in the background?? I know that rolling around the floor with a camera in hand can be tricky to get everything right, but if there is a definite horizon line in the background (skirting board) then keep that in mind when composing your shot. But to add interest, if you make deliberately off centre, meaning quite a bit to show that you've done it on purpose, that also add interest to the shot.

I like the last one most of all. Just cause he's bigger in the shot, and I feel as tho I could reach in and touch those beautiful cheeks.

Tiffxx :)
