Enjoy your Day Deb :)

I have been having mental breakdowns with my Child - who has hit those terrible 2's now he knows how to get out of his chair when it comes to breakfast or lunch time he runs away throws food at me and just runs riot So this morning at breakfast he went in the corner, We have been doing this for a little while and he used to just sit and cry there and now he's worked out what it is so I freaked out and said "Thats it too the Corner" he spent 2 minutes then yelled out "Finished Mum" and he ate his breakfast today at lunch same thing wouldnt eat carried on so I picked him up and put him straight to bed with no food  he cried for around 3 minutes and realized I was serious and wasn't getting him out so now he's asleep Its going to be a long afternoon if he doesnt sleep for longer than an hour :? Plus side now he knows whos boss!!! It's sending me mental!

Oh dear the sleeplessness... horrible Ant. I'm not good at sleeping either, though must admit this past year I have gotten better so long as I dont go to bed before midnight and I can pretty much sleep through :)

I think for me it is child-related cos Hannah didnt sleep all night until she was 4 1/2 yrs old and until 16mths old she was on a cardiac and respiratory monitor (she was hooked up with four leads) so you can imagine by the time she figured out that if she pulled one off - we'd come running! Can you just THINK of how much fun that is through her eyes to have her parents wake from a dead sleep - fly through the air, feet barely touching the floor to get to her side in a single bound while she sits there clapping her hands and giggling!!!
It was time to come off the monitor - and of course then I didnt sleep for fear of something happening!
Its taken the past 16 yrs to get over that  But as I said, its getting better - I'm a big girl - I can put myself back to sleep now LOL!!!! (I sound like the baby!!!  )

I regress... sorry...

but yeah, know how you feel - so would get up and scrap too  It was the most creative time of night

Mandy I wouldn't sleep either, After Cody had menegitis it took me 6 months to finally sleep properly even though he has been sleeping through since 10 weeks! I still have to wake him every morning It drives me nuts!

Yea just got home from work, earliest day this week. :)
I have trouble getting to sleep and then sleep like I am in a coma and do not want to get out of bed  There have been plenty of nights when I did not sleep at all it is very frustrating isn't it.
I can scrap till i drop all week end.

yippee - scrapping and shopping sounds great.

We have two children - Robert was the most horrid child ever up to the age of 10, I now consider myself so blessed to have such an amazing 17year old. Tara on the other hand was a doll up until she got hormonal and it has been hard ever since! I love her to death by every time I think life is settling down something else happens. I think do the hard yards when they are young and hope for the angel stage to kick in in the teenage years.
