these look great. You've reminded me I have watercolour pencils. Has anyone done this on other papers for layouts?

Beautiful layouts! I only just stumbled across the paintables on the website the other day. I really must put them on my shopping list. I like using watercolor pencils too but I LOVE watercolouring with my distress inks...
