The challenge is for you to be inspired by a word starting with the given letter and create a LO showing somewhere on your layout the word that your LO was inspired by. This can be in the title or in your journalling (we need to be able to see it).
and the extra criteria for this letter is to add some distressing to your page.
This is what I have done for "C".....
I've used papers from the BoBunny Learning curve range and added to this a Tim Holtz envelope to hold a tag that I have written the recipe on. I've also added these cute little Tim Holtz reinforcers to the top of the tag and to the punched holes on the side of my page. I've used the Tim Holtz distress stain (weathered wood) and the distress ink (tea dye). The alphas are Carolee's creations (bold black) and Li'l Davis chipboard alpha (which I've sanded and dabbed the ink pad over).
Pages must be newly created solely for the use of this challenge and may not be used in any other challenge until winners are announced. All entries are due by midnight of the last day of the month. The winner will receive a $25 Scraptherapy Voucher, which will be valid for one month from the date of issue. If vouchers are not able to be used within that time for some reason the voucher can be RAK'd to a friend for their use.
Well I spent Friday at Chillagoe exploring the Chillagoe Caves... but I was planning to do Grand Canyon. Not sure now. I haven't actually used distressing before so that will be interesting . I like the look, I bought some toys from Leanne just the other week to give it a go, so now I will have to!

Either of your choices sound good Jo. Give the distressing a go - there doesn't have to be much if you're not a fan.....just enough that we can see it. I've used the edge distresser (tame-ly for me this time) on my paper and used a sanding block over the photo matt and alphas.
I will have to put my thinking cap on... My son is called Cameron but as this album is all about ME I'm going to do C to do with me. I'm thinking maybe "CRAFTY"
