Here is your first letter for the month......the letter D.
(I hope everyone is enjoying the a-z challenges as much as I am creating them.)

The challenge is for you to be inspired by a word starting with the given letter and create a LO showing somewhere on your layout the word that your LO was inspired by. This can be in the title or in your journalling (we need to be able to see it).

The extra criteria for this layout is to add a frame to your main photo or subject.

For my page, I have decided to use Christmas papers and embellies for a non-Christmas related photo. We have this cute little fairy door solar light at the base of a tree which our little grand-daughters just love especially when the fairies turn the lights on at night.




I've used the yummy Websters Waiting for Santa (Fa-la-la) one side for the base and cut into the other side for the alpha and cut out embellies.
Also used are Websters Waiting for Santa fabric ribbon and Websters Waiting for Santa stickers.
Ink - Prima chalk fluid edger (Old Road) - luv this.
Tim Holtz distress stain (Weathered wood) - luv this too.
Alpha - Authentique petite type squares.
I've also cut out some little fairies from the G45 Once upon a Springtime tags.

Pages must be newly created and non-digital, solely for the use of this challenge and may not be used in any other challenge or purpose until winners are announced. All entries are due by midnight of the last day of the month. The winner will receive a $25 Scraptherapy Voucher, which will be valid for one month from the date of issue. If vouchers are not able to be used within that time for some reason the voucher can be RAK'd to a friend for their use.

Such a cute photo - and I wouldn't have known that the papers were from a Christmas collection if you hadn't told us

Thats the great thing about some of the Christmas papers... they make fabby projects any time of the year~

Oh oh oh i am so excited! Have been waiting for D, have a cool idea for my page, and the frame should work in it nicely. Now I just have to make it look as good as it does in my head... (nope, never does) that's the hard part! And as always Deb, beautiful LO to inspire us and keep us keen, i am definitely having a great time playing along with you making this album.

More "D" words - Dad, dark, darling, daughter, decade, decoration, degree, delight, dog,denim, dentist, diary, drink, dinner, difficult....and the list goes on. Hope this gets the mojo flowing.
